Is it possible to find who viewed your WhatsApp profile?
The short and simple answer to this question is NO. There is no way you can find out who viewed your WhatsApp profile. Why is it so because WhatsApp doesn’t have such feature. Although you can view who viewed your status and messages on WhatsApp but you can’t directly find if someone is stalking you.
If you talk about other social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram, then there are some chances stalkers can leave footprints after stalking your profile such as leaving a like on your photo, viewing your stories or highlights, etc., but this is also not possible on WhatsApp.
What about the apps that claims to find WhatsApp stalkers?
There are couple of third-party apps available from unknown sources which claims to help you find out who viewed your WhatsApp profile. You may also find many articles on the internet recommending you to use these apps but we want to clear the fact that none of these apps actually work.
As you may know, WhatsApp doesn’t have an API (short for Application Programming Interface) which allows other apps to interact with and retrieve information from WhatsApp. This is the reason why third-party apps can’t find out who is stalking your profile.
Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media services have APIs, that’s why they can connect with other third-party apps/websites but this feature is not available on WhatsApp at this moment. This means third-party apps are no way connected with WhatsApp and they are total scam.
We don’t recommend you to install any app on your phone for checking who viewed your WhatsApp profile. These apps go against WhatsApp’s terms of service. Apart from that, they also possess various security risks for your device especially if an app asks for device administrative permissions.
How to know who viewed your WhatsApp status
WhatsApp has a built-in feature which allows you to find out who has viewed your WhatsApp status. Here’s how you can check it –

How to know who viewed your messages
Another feature on WhatsApp allows you to check who has read your messages. You may already know about this feature. If you see double blue tick mark on a message, it means that the recipient has read it.
To get more information about that, simply select the message by long-pressing on it and then click info (i) icon at the upper right corner. This will open the message information where you can check when you message was delivered and read by the recipient.
Similarly, you can also check who has read your messages on WhatsApp groups. Simply, tap on the message to select it and then click the info icon. In the message info page, you will see a list of people divided in two section: Read by and Delivered to.
