Automatic Payment Pending Issue in AdSense [Fix]

Are you seeing “Automatic payment pending: Wire transfer to bank account ****” message on your AdSense payment page? This might freak you out a little bit but there is nothing to worry about. AdSense shows this message when your payment isn’t released. In this post, we will tell you what this message actually means and what you have to do to fix it quickly. Let’s start!

Automatic payment pending in AdSense

Why AdSense shows automatic payment pending message?

You may already know how AdSense payment is scheduled. The payment is issued between the 21st and the 26th date of the month. Google AdSense will release your payment only when it exceeds the threshold limit. The default threshold limit set by the AdSense itself is $100, but you can also change it manually.

In between the time period of the 21st and the 26th of the month, you will see the “Payment in Progress” message on your AdSense payment page. Once the payment is released, the automatic payment transfer is initiated. Then this message will be changed to “Payment initiated”.

If you are using EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer) payment method, then it would take up to 7 business days for the payment to reach your bank account. A business day refers to the working days of the week from Monday to Friday (excluding Saturday and Sunday). By the end of the month, the payment will be in your hands.

Google AdSense ensures that this payment cycle is completed as soon as possible. However, sometimes it might get affected because of some reasons. For example, if there is a holiday on the 21st of the month, then your payment will not be issued. In that case, you will see a message “Automatic Payment Pending” on the Transaction page on your AdSense Dashboard.

How you can fix automatic payment pending issue?

Most probably, you are seeing the “Automatic Payment Pending” message because of the same holiday reason. Just check if there is a holiday on the 21st of the month. This usually happens at the end of the year (in November and December), however, it can also happen anytime.

Now let’s come to the solution part. So what you have to do to fix this issue! Well, there is nothing you can do to fix it as it is not an error on your side. Google AdSense will automatically release your payment whenever the next working day will come. So just sit back, chill and relax!

What to do when you don’t receive payment in your bank account?

In the next few days, the “Automatic Payment Pending” message will change to “Payment in Progress” and then you will receive your payment in your bank account within the next 7 business days. If you haven’t received your payment even after that time period, then contact your bank for further details.

Sometimes banks don’t release payment in your account for various reasons. You may be asked to provide some documents (such as PAN card) and attach an application for why are you receiving overseas (international) payments. You can easily fix this issue by contacting your nearest bank branch.

At last, we would live to sum up that “Automatic payment pending” isn’t a big issue and there is nothing you have to do to fix it. It will get resolved by itself once Google AdSense will release your payment. If you have any other questions in your mind, then let us know in the comments.
